General Motors and Daimler Chrysler are two automakers that are leading the pack in innovative hybrid engine solutions using Two-Mode hybrid systems designed especially for larger sport utility vehicles. The Two-Mode hybrid technology for larger cars will be 25% more fuel efficient and will provide fuel economy of 20 or more miles per gallon.
